Forge Studio — Creative Web Agency

1. Scope and Services

Forge Studio, a web agency based in Liège (Belgium), offers website creation services, SEO optimization, and content writing. These Terms & Conditions govern the contractual relationship between Forge Studio and its clients.

2. Services Offered

Web Packages

  • Starter Package: 3-5 page website, standard design, basic copywriting, SEO included — Starting from €750
  • Pro Package: 5-10 page website, premium design, optimized copywriting, advanced SEO, integrations — Starting from €1500
  • Enterprise Package: Custom website, ultra-premium design, expert copywriting, advanced SEO+, training — Upon request

Prices are stated in euros excluding VAT and may be subject to applicable VAT depending on the client's jurisdiction.

3. Delivery Timeline

Forge Studio commits to delivering websites within a maximum of 7 days from receipt of the complete brief and first payment installment. This timeline may be extended in case of significant modification requests or payment delays.

4. Payment Terms

  • A 50% deposit is required to begin work
  • The remaining 50% is due upon website delivery
  • Payments must be made by bank transfer or other agreed method
  • Invoices are issued according to applicable Belgian standards
  • In case of non-payment of the balance, Forge Studio reserves the right to suspend access to the website until full payment is received

5. Intellectual Property

  • The design, code, and content created by Forge Studio remain the property of Forge Studio until full payment is made
  • Once payment is completed, the rights to use the website are transferred to the client
  • Content provided by the client remains their exclusive property
  • Forge Studio retains the right to present completed work in its portfolio with prior client approval
  • Third-party libraries, frameworks, and tools used remain subject to their own licenses

6. Responsibilities and Limitations

Forge Studio's Responsibility:

  • Provide a functional, optimized, and secure website according to current standards
  • Ensure compatibility with major browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge)
  • Provide clean and well-documented code
  • Deliver a responsive website (mobile, tablet, desktop)

Limitations:

  • Forge Studio cannot be held responsible for service interruptions related to hosting providers or external attacks
  • Forge Studio does not guarantee commercial results (increase in clients, revenue, etc.)
  • Substantial modifications after delivery (addition of 3+ pages, complete redesign) may incur additional fees

7. Modifications and Revisions

  • Two revision cycles and corrections are included in packages
  • Modifications requested after these two cycles will be charged at €150 per hour or according to a quote
  • Major creative direction changes may result in additional delays

8. Maintenance and Support

  • Forge Studio provides 30 days of free technical support after delivery
  • Beyond 30 days, an annual maintenance package (starting from €300/year) may be offered
  • System security updates are not included by default and will be charged separately

9. Hosting and Domain

  • Forge Studio can propose reliable hosting from third-party providers (e.g., Netlify, OVH)
  • Hosting and domain registration costs are charged separately and renewable annually
  • The client remains owner of their domain and data

10. Termination

  • If the client wishes to terminate a contract before delivery, the paid deposit remains acquired by Forge Studio
  • Work completed until termination will be charged pro rata (max 50% of the deposit)
  • Written termination via email is required (hello@forgestudio.be)

11. Confidentiality and Data Protection

Forge Studio commits to respecting the confidentiality of information provided by the client. Personal data collected is processed in accordance with GDPR regulations and this privacy policy.

12. Applicable Law and Disputes

  • Applicable Law: These Terms & Conditions are governed by Belgian law
  • Jurisdiction: Disputes fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Liège (Belgium)
  • Resolution: Forge Studio and the client commit to seeking amicable resolution before any legal action
  • In case of dispute, legal costs and attorney fees may be borne by the losing party

13. Acceptance of Terms

By accepting a quote or paying a deposit, the client accepts these Terms & Conditions of Service.
